Hi I'm trying to actually replace two seat belt buckles and it looks easy enough once you get the back seat out but there are no easy clips it seems...is there an easy way to do this please? Best wishes Matt
Hi Matt, here’s how to remove the rear seat in your 2006 Hyundai Tucson:
Remove the Lower Seat Cushion: Look under the seat for bolts or clips that hold the bottom cushion in place. Use a socket wrench or screwdriver to remove these fasteners.
Remove the Backrest: After you’ve taken out the bottom cushion, you need to remove the backrest. Find the bolts or screws at the base or behind the backrest. You might need to fold the backrest forward to reach them.
Detach the Seat Belt Buckles: With the seat out, you can access the seat belt buckles. They’re usually bolted to the floor or the seat frame. Unbolt them carefully.
Install New Buckles: Put the new buckles in place and bolt them in just like the old ones. Make sure they’re securely fastened.
Reassemble the Seat: Put the backrest and lower cushion back in place, reversing the steps you took to remove them. Ensure everything is securely attached.
If you have trouble, check for any hidden bolts or clips. It might also help to look at the vehicle’s repair manual for more details.
