Default 2022 Tucson - center console removal

Im looking for info on opening the 2022 Tucson centre console, I want to get under the front section to add my own wireless charger. They told me it was included when I ordered but it didnt get installed and they changed the story. so I will install my own. I thought i would as here if anyone has opened it yet just want to avoid breaking clips or if there are screws somewhere

If you are careful and don't force things you should be able to see and feel where any retainers might be located.
Not all consoles are the same.
It would be a shame if you broke something and had to look at it for as long as you owned the vehicle just to install a convenience item.
Did you ask the delivering dealership what they would charge to install your part? If they break anything , they need to fix it at no cge to you.

Im a technician by trade, wouldn't need to use the dealership to install what I need as they want $800 for the $5 part I have to install, seems rather pointless to waste my talent watching them do what the All Data manuals should have. Im waiting for the updates to the AllData manuals to carry out the task as Im sure I can just feel around and figure it out, if it breaks we just order up the new parts not a big issue with that. Seems many of these cars are resorting to clips rather then screws to lower the ability to customize without breaking. it went in it will come out as most of my trade has shown me in past 30 years, getting trickier but still serviceable Im sure. perhaps my trusty plastic\ trim tools will be in full use shortly. I thought I would reach out in here if anyone has attempted with the lack of published manuals at the moment.

Didn't know you had a tech background.
Maybe when you finish the job , you might share some of what you found, thanks.

I think its much easer to add a simple inexpensive charger that i will attach the link from amazon than to alter your new Tucson.

Thanks, I have seen these before, wasn't certain how they would function with the cables being in the way. I have a similar device I was going to connect underneath and wire up directly to the power as well as extend usb ports to the rear of the car as well for passengers to charge up as well. I will have a look at these. I love to dissasemble the car to check what mods can be performed, Dealerships are just crazy with their labour quotes for simple stuff. We own it we should be allowed to mod when we know what we're doing.

Did you ever get it taken apart? The USB/Data port broke and trying to replace. Looking for help to take apart the unit.
