I am thinking of changing my car stereo, the one in my UK spec Tucson is absolutely pants. It is a VDO 631 model, apparently it is made by VDO Dayton. It is a single DIN unit.

It looks pretty straightforward to remove, however does anyone know if a replacement unit will slip straight into the existing slot or will I have to remove the cage as well? Will this vary from brand to brand? and lastly will I need an ISO wiring adapter?

Any help much appreciated. I did try to have a search around the forums but could not find.
