Default no dashlights since stereo install

i removed the factory cd player from my wifes 2007 hyundai tuscon
installed a new kenwood cd player with the appropriate mounting kit and wiring adapter and since the install the none of the dashlights come on when turning on the headlights. as far as i can tell everything else is working i checked the fuse box under the hood and no blown fuses. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Yeah, there are 2 fuse boxes. The one in the engine compartment is usually for the engine and computers. The one under the dash generally handles the gauges, interior lights, accessories, etc. The fuse box in the dash is accessed through the panel at the side of the dash visible when the drivers door is open.
