I had the panic alarm firing off last night (of all times!) waking everybody up and my neighbors and my neighbors pets.

I'll look into the ESC recall but would appreciate those who already know about this to chime in their experience. I got a 2005 Tucson pre-owned and not sure if it had been taken cared of.

@Andray_Blatche

I have a pre-owned 2007 Tucson limited, I just changed out the switch from under my hood and the beeps went away.

Definitely look into any recalls, but for me changing out the switch that senses whether or not the hood is closed solved my problem.

Thanks.

I took mine to a Hyundai service shop and when the guy opened the front hood, he found out that the rubber lid that should press to the hood sensor/switch when closed was missing.

It was probably loose already and got knocked off. They only charged me for the rubber lid. So far, 1 day and a half passed and no surprise alarms.

Hoping it to stay that way.
