Question Replace Front Cigarette Lighter with Power Port

I need to replace the cigarette lighter with a power port in my 2007 Tucson. I was wondering if anybody has done this and have a few questions. I believe the power port has a higher output than the lighter and thus would require a different fuse. Was wondering if this was true. I have also noticed that my charger does not fit in the lighter but fits in the rear power port. Was wondering if I got a new power port from Hyundai would it fit in the slot for the lighter. If anyone has any tips they would also be greatly appreciated.

The lighter port is exactly the same as a power port. You don't need to change it. If your charger doren't fit, it's not because of the port. It could be because it's interfering with something on the dash.
