Default cabin heats up but not feet

I just bought a 2010 Veracruz. I notice that more than with most cars, when I have the heating system set on "feet only" (the little icon pointing at the bottom of a seat), the top of the cabin heats up much more than the feet. I like hot air on my feet, and cooler above. It's usually doable with most cars I've been in, but I can't seem to get that here. Is it just my car or do others have the same issue?

thanks in advance,

Mike

Heat rises. Not much you can do about that other than opening a window. You could also try closing the upper vents by turning the dials to the "X". Even on the floor setting a small amount of air comes out the upper vents.
