Hi, I have a 2008 VC limited with a proximity key and recently, the proximity feature stopped working and I had to insert the key to turn the car on. Now even inserting the key is hardly working and have to try many times (10+) before the ignition turns. This is happening with the 2 Fobs which has new batteries - I heard that this could be a problem with the immobilizer! I would appreciate if someone can help me with diagnosing the problem

Does anyone know or have instructions how to get to the immobilizer behind the dash?

Not sure what you're problem is??
Does the engine crank and not start?
Or does the key not turn in the lock?
Does the immobilizer light go out?
Did you try changing the battery on the key fob?
Are the batteries put in correctly?

I have no advice or instructions on how to egt the immobilizer out. Sorry.
