Default 2002 Hyundai XG 350 ABS control module

Hello ! I have an 02 XG 350 that is in need of an abs control module. I’m getting no comm on can bus line when lights are on. I get intermittent TCS and ABS lights. The pump is good since I can cycle it with bidirectional tool when lights are out. My question is, is a replacement module plug & play or does it need programming? If so, what would the dealer charge to do this or is there a resource I can send the module to for repair. Thank you in advance

Before condemning the unit, did you run a health check of all the modules?
Any module in the network that is not functioning or malfunctioning will cause an interruption . Sounds like the diagnosis is incomplete.

It was the ABS module. I sent it to a module repair service , got it back and all lights gone and haven’t returned with about 700 miles since installation. Cost me $100 as opposed to $1800 for a new abs pump/module, which are not sold separately. Need to buy the whole pump/module combo.

Sent to Module Master in Moscow, Idaho. He was the only one I could find to work on this module. BTW, the ABS module in the XG 350 is a Teves ATE MK 20. It is used in many other vehicles , most notably Jeep Grand Cherokee & Jaguars of that era. However, module master was the only one to be able to identify it in our Hyundai’s as such.

+1 Module Master. Same vehicle as OP. 2002 XG350. ATE MK20 ABS module.
Intermittent orange ABS/TCS lights, and finally also a red Brake warning light.
Similar codes:
C1200 Wheel Speed Sensor Front-LH Open/Short
C1203 Wheel Speed Sensor Front-RH Open/Short
C1503 TCS/ESC ESP Switch error
C1611 CAN Time-out ECM
C1612 CAN Time-out TCM
Replaced LF Sensor and verified good resistance and AC output. Code reoccurred. Went to Google.
After reading this thread, I sent our module to Module Master. 1000 miles and no MIL or codes. Thanks NickyNick. This thread saved me so much money.
