I live in a really hot climate, 102 and higher for a better part of summer ....after driving around for awhile when you come to a stop at a traffic light my ac quits working. I had it hooked up to ac machine and the teck said to clean out radiator and the condensor. The pressure was to high and when he hit the condensor with water it climbed down. Now i have done all this and it has not changed ...what else could be causing it ?

 

Is there enough refrigerant in the system? Is the compressor working properly? Is the belt tight? My guess is the tech you went to was not a very good mechanic. Take it to someone else that knows what they are doing. If it has less than 60K miles, take it back t the dealer because it's still under warranty. Let them fix it for free.
