07 Santa Fe Wiring Issue
Hello! Thanks for allowing me to join your forum. My Mother In Law has a beautiful 07 Santa fe she lovingly calls "Old Nelly." Recently, mice made lunch out of the wiring that controls the injectors for cylinders 2 and 4. This car has the 2.7 v6 and has approximately 73 k on it. We managed to reconnect most of the damaged wiring. Had to replace the OCV harness (39650-3c000) because that was chewed off at the plugs. There is another wire and connector on the same bracket as the OCV harness that is shielded and runs under the intake that has been chewed off as well. I have no idea what it is or what it went to. The car runs fantastic now and no lights are on. The OCV harness connector is gray and is on the right side of the black metal bracket. On the left side of the bracket is where the wire I am asking about is located. The connector is black as is the wire. The letters A and B are on the connector and its covered in a black sheath and black plastic loom. Even though it appears to be one wire, there are two in the insulation. A bare wire (ground?) and a black insulated wire. Does anyone know what this is or where it goes??? I don't have pictures now but will soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
