Angry 2004 Santa Fe 3.5 sputtering and stalling

Going down the freeway engine just started sputtering and lost power, finally stalled. Would start right up but when put int gear would sputter and die. Had it towed back to the house. I don’t think it overheated. It will start and idle at 600-700 rpm but when I rev the engine will only go to 3000 rpm and then start dropping. When I put in gear will sputter and die, even just turning on the a/c. Car set up for almost 2 years, had to replace radiator but after that was driven about 150 miles before this happened. Any ideas about the cause?

Might be a good idea to check and replace the fuel filter.

Question

Does anyone know what this doodad is? It sits right below the air intake of the throttle body? It’s for Hyundai 3.5.

Is this an idle air control valve? Sits under the throttle body air intake. Anyone know a part number? Can’t find it in Carparts.com or Rockauto.com. Could it be what’s causing my problem of not going over 3000 rpm and motor dies when put in gear. I’ve cleaned throttle body and changed MAF and TPS.
