I am curious if you can swap from the 1.6 to a 2008 Kia 2.0. My 1.6 died and I can get this 2.0 for really cheap and they look pretty damn similar

 

We need to be careful attempting these switches, why ?

Manufacturers change specs from year to year and even mid year and if the engine assy doesn't match with the controls it will never run right if at all.

When there were no electronics involved , we were able to swap all kinds of parts and were able to correct mechanical problems fairly easily. That is not the case with more advanced vehicles these days.
