Default 2008 Hyundai Entourage - Stange warning chimes while turning left.

I have been having a strange problem lately. I have had rear door problems just like most others that have this vehicle but since the doors started acting up I have encountered another problem that I can't find anyone else with. When I slightly turn left from a stop or rolling I encounter the overhead lights turning on and a chime beeping until it gets straightend back out from the turn. Has anyone else had this problem. It is pretty annoying because we travel to work in the dark and everytime we turn left or lately go around a bend on the highway the light and bells come on. Any help or thoughts would be great.

Sounds like the wire for one of the door switches has become disconnected or broken and is grounding whe you make left turns.

Here's something to try: set the interior lights to "OFF" instead of "DOOR" and see if the light stop going on.

Door striker likely loose enough that body roll/flex allows door to move and let go of courtesy switch.

Look at doorr and make sure they is flush with rest of body wehn closed, try pulling out on door and see if it makes chimes activate..

Take and tap the striker with hammer and see if it move easily, if yes, adjust and tighten the bolts securely.
