2014 front washer issue
Have not had any issues on my wife's 2014 Santa Fe. This week, of corse on the coldest day this year, the front washers stoped working. The back washer works fine.
easy checks: filled fluid, checked fuse, if i checked the correct one., rear washer check and hear pump whine, front check and no whine, checked sprayer and seems not clogged. When wife gets home, will separate front hose and see if anything flows.
if nothing flows, what's up? Pardon my ignorance, but am i thinking correct?
only one pump.
only one fluid tank
three prong connector on pump. Hot, front wash ground, rear wash ground?
if front test gives no whine, issues are: connector issue on front wash leg. Check continuity with front wash button activated. Possible root causes: connector corroded on front wash leg, bad wire between wash switch and pump, bad switch on wiper control stick.
Any other possibilities?
what is best way to bet to pump connector? Remember it is 5 degrees.
any other tests i can do to help isolate the issue?
will assume the washer pump is good, as the rear washer works great?
any help will be appreciated.
have a blessed day

All this can be done with a test light or multimeter. Just make sure you have power to the washer motor when you call for wash.
It is not practical to attempt to pump washer fluid from the front to the rear of the vehicle suggest you check the owners manual as to where the rear reservoir is located.
