If anyone can give me ANY feedback I'd greatly appreciate it. This is serious and dangerous and I already brought it to the Service dept, but..... The issue is: Many times when I'm driving at a slow speed the car just SPEEDS UP on its own without me accelerating AND many times I am literally stopped with my foot on the brake, like at a red light or whatever, and the car continues to move. I end up putting the car in Neutral just to keep from hitting another car!. The Service dept STUPIDLY (I assume) said my floor mat was probably on the accelerator, which is ridiculous.
When I put the car in Neutral, the car revs up really loud.
1) I don't need Brakes, had new ones put in

2)The car only has 38K miles

3) I'm a good, safe driver and never incorrectly step on the accelerator or brake.

I feel like something serious is going on (transmission??). I know very little about cars so that's why I'm pleading for one of you much more mechanically knowledgeable friends to give me any feedback or thoughts. Thank you all
