In-cabin camera 2025 Santa Fe
I would like to know if there is a way to turn off the camera that sits just over the steering wheel on my 2025 Santa Fe. I had an issue with polarized sunglasses preventing me from seeing the heads-up display. Bought non-polarized ones. Took a trip out of town and, while cruising on the interstate, and passing an 18-wheeler, all of a sudden I got a dinging sound and the cruise control turned off and the brakes went on. I thought something really bad had happened and it scared me to death. Then noticed a message on the dash saying that I had limited control of the car controls because the camera could not see my face. My new sunglasses are slightly mirrored so the camera could not follow my eyes. So, back to looking for different sunglasses that are not polarized nor mirrored. Can't find any. I don't plan on taking trips in the future if I can't use cruise control because the camera can't make sure I am watching the road. To me this is outrageous. If there is no way to fix this, as in other smaller issues I have had with this Hyundai and my last one, this will be the last time I ever consider the Hyundai line of autos.
