Can someone tell me what the round thing is for on my 2007 accent

 

It appears to be a type cup holder, since the printing on it says "Press Cup"

 

If you look at the image then you will see above the word cup is a picture of a cup with an "X" over it.
It is not a cup holder. Would image there was a thing that would be PRESS in that space
Maybe an ash tray or change holder or trash bin??

I'm glad they don't put something like this in the space capsule that goes to the moon . They could wind up on Mars.
There has to be somebody that can clarify those directions.
Wonder if according to the instruction that says, Press, with an arrow pointing to the image if that could be the ejection seat?
I know I'm gonna get heck for this !
Anything on this in the owner's manual?

It's where a removable ashtray was fitted. Yours is missing. It's surprising that a vehicle in 2007 still had one!
