bought a 99 Accent about a month ago for 800 bucks.

5 speed, A/C and 97,000 miles on it. first foreign car I ever owned.

car has structural integrity of a beer can. runs good. the hi beams dont work and the cooling fans dont work, the radio is iffy but what would you expent for 800 bux. I like it for being such a cheap POS, I wouldn't buy a new one to save my life. LOL.

the 99 Cavalier I bought 2 years ago for 3500 bucks has outperformed this accent as far as needing repairs, I've already had to put more effort into my 99 accent than I have in my 99 CAV in the 2 years I've had that car.

I guess GM aint as big a POS as most people think. LOL.

in the 2 months I've had this accent. I have discovered that the struts are shot, the headlight switch is worn out, and the cooling fans are shot.

sometimes one of the brake lights dont work, wiring receptacles are crap on 99 hyundais.

seems like you have to order parts for these cars, nobody stocks much more than an oil filter.

but for 800 bucks whose complaining. the little fugger runs fine.

 

I bought a 91 cavalier for 200 bucks and drove the sucker for 50000 miles and then blew the bastard up. everyone should have one of these beaters in their lifetime.
