I think I may have made a bad deal... I got talked into buying a 2008 Hyundai Accent. It was described as a

"Great little car! Runs like a champ! But, the kid who owned it ran it into a ditch, and messed up the front end. All it needs is the passenger side strut. The drivers side strut is brand new! It even comes with the strut, ready to go in! Then, it just needs a new front drivers side tire, and an alignment, and you are good to go!"

So I bought both the sales pitch, and the car. You would think that, at my age, I wouldn't be so dumb. But, I am. Turns out that the second strut was not installed because they used the wrong wrench on a bolt that is too tight, and stripped it. It does not need a tire. It needs four tires, because all four wheels lean in at the top. Judging from how clean the present tires are, and the fact that they are all Maypops, due to the tilt, this little car must gobble tires very quickly. Husband says that the rear axel is bent. He may have said the spindles were bent too, but I am not sure if that was a guess, or an observation.

I like this little car! But, having heard all of that, is it worth fooling with? Is this a known week spot? I just don't know how best to move forward, Thank you for your input!
