Hi all, new to the site.
I'm having a problem with my Hyundai Matrix. After driving for roughly 45 minutes sometimes shorter, car is holding back, like if its starving/choking and sometimes cutting off, if i restart as it cuts off it restarts with same problem unless i pull aside and switch off for about 5 minutes, when i restart it works normal, then the problem comes back again.

Fuel pump was changed, replaced head and block, cam and crank sensor, map sensor, coil packs are original, brain box was also replaced and the computer diagnostic not showing any faults.
Has anyone had this same problem or can help me with what it might be???
Its a 2003 model.

 

You say the coil packs are original?
Could they be failing when they get hot?

Don't know???
