Hello everyone, I have a Hyundai Santa Fé, and it is showing an anomaly where whenever I activate the PCV valve the engine consumes 1 liter of oil in less than 50 km, the car emits a lot of smoke and works poorly, but if I block the pcv valve, it runs well but consumes half a liter of oil every thousand kilometers

 

Sounds like your PCV valve might be causing the problem. Try replacing the valve with a new one, which is usually cheap and easy to do. If you don’t want to buy a new one, you can clean the current valve by taking it out and spraying it with carb cleaner to remove any gunk.
