Just got my first Hyundai. I was blown away by the new Tucson. We wanted to move to a small SUV as we have a daughter now, but we were waiting till my mustang died since it was paid off.

We considered the traditional basic CR-V, Rav-4, Escape, CX-7, etc. but we couldn't get past all that was offered with the new Tucsons (AWD, Navi, Sunroof, MPGs) for the same money. Best bang for the buck along with great warranty and IIHS top safety pick (something we never would have bothered checking before having a kid). Maybe not the best cargo volume, but best all around in its segment.

Looking forward to some road trips now.

 

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Tucson. I have an older 2006 and love it.

 

Gas mileage pretty good also. I get avg 26-27 mpg and have got as high as 32 on long interstate drives. Comfortable ride-love mine.

 

i, too, just leased a 2011 Tucson limited. we looked at all the same and ended up driving off with the Tucson. So far so good!!
