Hi guys. I'm new here. I've got a 2001 Hyundai Accent 1.6 DOHC and it hasn't run right since the "mechanic" I bought it from gave it the "A-OK" stamp of approval. Where to start: Overtorqued the valve cover and cracked the crap out of it, put the wrong alternator in it, drilled a hole in the manifold to make the wrong TPS "fit", blown front shocks, etc. . .

I'm going back, as an amateur, and fixing the things that the mechanic screwed up. I could use any help you guys can give me.
