Hey everyone. I'm new here. I started driving a Hyundai a while ago. My old job had 6 1999 Elantras for company cars. At first I was a bit nervous about driving a Hyundai 300 miles a day. After a while I figured out they are damn good cars! I drove mine like a bat out of hell every single day! I mean I beat this poor car up so bad. It would not die! Now it's my parts car for my 2000 Elantra. The parts car has 250,000 miles on it! All it ever needed in it's 250,000 miles was an alternator, battery and a wheel bearing. About a year before I stopped driving it the transmission started slipping once in a while. Finally, much to my dismay a coworker used it and the transmission died The car still ran great. Didn't burn a drop of oil. Now my 2000 is starting to have some transmission issues. I will always trust Hyundai.
