Good day ya'll! I'm Laurie and I currently own a 2006 Hyundai Sonata LX. I purchased it used in 2010 from a dealer in Kansas (dealer owned/used, low mileage) and thank GOD I also purchased extended warranties. I've had this vehicle in and out of the dealership way too many times for this and that. I have found out through the grapevine that many of this vehicles issues were common for this year/make/model. The vehicle is no longer under warranty (maxes out at 135K miles under extended warranty), therefore cha-ching $$$ for me when it comes to diagnostics and repairs, but I don't take it to the dealer unless I have no alternative. I love this vehicle, but I'll have to make a decision soon about buying a new car. It has over 150K miles on it, but the majority are highway. It's 'cute', comfortable, very good gas mileage, has many extras being an LX (limited edition), and I love that it has larger than normal windows (I need all the help I can get when it comes to clarity while driving). But, my little Silver Fox will have to be put to rest one day soon as I'm not going to nickel and dime myself to death to keep it up and running. I've enjoyed this vehicle, but time for a change (if you catch my drift).
