Hi...I've been looking at the Dunlop SP Sport Signature 215/55/17 All Season tires. I really like they look of them and the write up seems to give me what I need here in New England weather. What's your opinion of them on my 2008 Sonata Limited.

Although I have a 2009 GLS I also have the Limited wheels and stock Hankook tires which are OK. But recently I replaced the stock Michelins on my 2008 GLS with Kumho Solus KH16s which I purchased mounted, balanced and installed for $370 complete at the local Ford dealership which when compared to Tirerack, which sells these for $300 plus shipping but not installed, etc., as a better deal. I have been very pleased with them thus far. As a point of interest the Kumho KH16s are stock on the Kia brand but one size smaller at 205/60/16. Don't know exactly what to make of that.

Recently I saw one of the Kumho "Esta" tires on a 2009 Sonata Limited which replaced the stock Hankooks at 24K and really looked sharp. Offhand I don't know the exact model but I was very favorably impressed with the appearance on the vehicle.

The Michelins are just too blasted expensive to consider. Another alternative might be the Toyos but I see they have been made, in some cases, in China which takes away their appeal as far as I am concerned. I would prefer the Japanese line. The Hankooks are also made in Korea although they do have a tire plant in the U.S.
