2011 Elantra freaks out my iPod, Tucson doesn't
I just got the new 2011 Elantra LImited with navigation package. It's really great, but it's doing weird things to my 3rd Gen iPod Nano. It works fine when it's plugged in and I'm using it in the car. The only weird thing noticeable is that the car always sets it on "Repeat All" mode, even if all I do is plug it in and it starts playing what I was already listening to.
But when I unplug it from the car and then plug it into my PC, it gets worse. The PC doesn't detect it, and then the iPod locks up, requiring a hard reset. I've never had this problem with the device before.
I've also used my iPod in my wife's new 2011 Tucson (no GPS) and it does not have either of these problems.
I am using the Hyundai cables that came with the cars in both cases.
Any suggestions?
