How much fuel left?

RE: How much fuel left?
I'd suggest driving until the light comes on and then fill the tank. Subtract the amount you filled the tank with from the total amount that tank holds (17.2 gal) and you will have your answer. Multiply that number by your average MPG and you will get your range.
My Tib has a 14.5 gallon tank. It usually takes about 12 gallons to fill once the light goes on. That means I have about 2.5 gallons in the tank when the light goes on. With an average MPG of about 24-mph, I have a range of about 60 miles.
From what I've seen, other Hyundais also have thelight go on with about 2.5 gallons left in the tank.
However, letting you tank get that low is not a good idea. You should fill your tank when it gets to about 1/4 left. The fuel keeps the fuel pump cool and running the tank that low regularly will hurt the pump.
