Default 2007 Santa Fe chime going off when I turn to the right

Yes this sounds weird, but about a week ago the chime in my 2007 Santa Fe started going off whenever I turned my steering wheel to the right. It chimes as if a door is open. As soon as I straighten out the steering wheel it stops chiming. It only does it when I turn to the right. Is there any way to disable the chime? I have my seat belt on and all of the doors are shut.

Thanks for the help.

Most of the time a chime is a notice of something wrong or needing attention.

Before attempting to disable a warning notice it would be a good move to determine why it is going off !
