My wife owns a 2003 Getz 1.6 (93000km). All of a sudden it has great difficulty starting in the morning. When it eventually starts, there is a cloud of smoke (fuel) and everthing smells of fuel. The engine runs very rough and as soon as it warms up - everthing is OK. When starting a hot engine - no problem. Everthing is right.

The car has been in the workshop for over a week and the mechanics cannot find the problem. A compression test has been done-OK, CO levels adjusted-OK, fuel injectors tested-OK. Nobody knows what is wrong. They have even being trying to contact manufacturer in Seoul.

Can anybody help.
