Hey guys, need some help.

I have a 2007 Accent with 155k miles. My parents recently moved to Florida for retirement (I live in Missouri), so this car needs to last me as long as possible. Could anyone tell me what engine is POSSIBLE to swap out for my stock. I plan on cleaning her up, clean tires, new paint job, etc. However, none of that matters if the engine fails. Please let me know.

Does the stock engine run?
Why do you need to change it?
And what is wrong with the old one?

 

I know this an old thread but I can't help myself. You need this 10 yr old car to last because your parents moved to Florida?
