So the accent is at 145k and the engine is burning oil after the last oil change ( I didn't over fill it). So my question is on the 1.5l engine is there a high occurrence of leaking valve stem seals or bad rings? I'm about to do a leak down test however any input will be appreciated.

 

Just a little side note,
Did you use a different grade of motor oil with the last oil change?
I have found that oil use/consumption goes down to almost none when a good grade of full synthetic motor oil is used.
I use it in everything generators, lawn tractors, heavy duty equip and of course in my own vehicles.
