Default Automatic Trans Problem

Hello, My accent gs 2001 sometimes when is running and the gas is not being press (80Km/h +) the trans start to shift gears up and down after that the car stop getting the overdrive even if you press all the gas, and after completly stop the car when you press the gas the car start to run very slow u even have to shift from D to 2 in order to the car star quicker. The car have to be tourned off and on again for this to stop i bealive it could be a sensor but wich one?. regards.

Sounds like you need to get a ODB II code reading and see if there is any trouble codes. Many things can cause the problems you describe.

Yep start with the scanner, It will probably give you Pulse Generator A or B (PGA/PGB)
Most of the time, it's the connector problem, it under the battery box and get very dirty.

Solution: Clean well the connector and spray some contact cleaner and you will see, no more problem.

Thanks i will clean the connectors and scan my car, this Pulse Generator(PGA/PGB) have something to do with the overdrive problem i mentioned?
