Default Daytime running and instrument panel lights

I have a 2002 Accent, 1.6 L hatchback, the daytime running lights aren't very bright. The high and low beam work okay. Also, the instrument panel lights work when they want to. They keep coming on and off. More off than on though. The light at the speedometer works but the other 2 are the ones with the issue.
What could both issues be or where do I start?

Daytime running lights are not intended to be full brightness.. They are to make it easier to see your vehicle than without them.
Some use the hi beam but at reduced brightness.

Dash lights are generally all tied together, so if some work and some don't , either the bulbs are loose or failing. You may need to remove the front of the instrument panel covering to get to the lamps.
You might try your local auto supply store to see if they carry the lamps which I believe are different from most vehicles. You would also have a chance to see exactly what they look like. They could be LED.
