REMOVAL

1. Remove the 2 heater side control cables and one blower side control cable.[/align]



2. Remove the center facia panel from the lower portion.[/align]



3. Disconnect the switch connectors and remove the center facia panel.[/align]

4. After removing the mounting bolts, remove the main crash pad. (Refer to "CRASH PAD" of BD guoup)[/align]

5. Disconnect the evaporator core temp sensor (thermister), blower resistor connector, and motor connector.[/align]



6. Remove the evaporator unit.[/align]



7. Remove the blower unit.[/align]



INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse of removal. (Prior to installation of intake and exhaust cables, install the locating pin)[/align]




MAIN CRASH PAD[/align]


- When using a screwdriver or equivalent, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.[/align]
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.[/align]


Be careful not to scratch the crash pad.[/align]

1. Remove the steering wheel and airbag module.[/align]

2. Remove the glove box. ("See Page BD-38")[/align]

3. Remove the crash pad lower panel. ("See Page BD-37")[/align]

4. Remove the center facia panel.("See Page BD-38")[/align]

5. Remove the audio assembly.[/align]

6. Remove the crash pad side trim.[/align]

7. Disconnect the antenna connecting connector.[/align]

8. After loosening the main crash pad mounting bolts, remove the main crash.[/align]

9. Installation is the reverse of removal.[/align]




CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION[/align]


- When using a screwdriver or equivalent, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.[/align]
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.[/align]


Be careful not to scratch the crash pad.[/align]

1. Raise the steering column.[/align]

2. Loosen the 4 mounting. Disconnect the self-diagnosis connector and hood release cable and remove the crash pad lower panel.[/align]



3. Installation is the reverse of removal.[/align]

GLOVE BOX REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION[/align]


- When using a screwdriver or equivalent, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.[/align]
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.[/align]


Be careful not to scratch the crash pad.[/align]

1. Remove the glove box stopper.[/align]



2. After loosening the glove box mounting screws(3EA), remove the glove box.[/align]



3. Installation is the reverse of removal.[/align]


CENTER FACIA PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION[/align]


- When using a screwdriver or equivalent, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.[/align]
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.[/align]


Take care not to scratch the crash pad.[/align]


1. Remove the glove box.[/align]

2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. ("See Page BD-37")[/align]

3. Disconnect the intake control mode, mode control, and air mix control cable. Remove the center facia panel from the lower portion with a trim remover.[/align]



4. Loosen the 4 mounting screws and remove the audio assembly.[/align]



5. Installation is the reverse of removal.[/align]
