Question Hi, need opinions about accent 99 engine change...?

Hi, I have a Hyundai Accent 99, standard with 1.5 l engine. It was repaired recently because its crankshaft was damaged (oil was recently changed, always is kept abreast), it worked a week and it broke again, the is damage worse than before.
I want to know what motor can be adapted to my 99 accent, since I don't want to invest in its engine again and bring it back damaged, because apparently washed the block and lubrication lines were clean. And if I'm going to change the engine I don't think putting 1.5, I want a bigger engine.
* I understand 1.8/2.0 Elantra or Tiburon fits, but don't know what changes should be made to make it work well. The computer is now from Elantra.
Thanks for your help!

Save yourself money and time, buy a newer Accent or Elantra.

I personally feel it's not a good return on investment. I'd replace the engine with a working 1.5 like the original one and then adding a turbo. Doing a 2.0 Beta swap is possible but it's not like a huge improvement in power unless you turbo that as well. Then you start getting into big $$$.

But here are some old threads for you to read:

Also do a Google.com search on "Accent Beta Swap"

Thanks for the threads and advice. I understand what are you talking about. But I do not want to compete with other cars, I just want to put an engine with more power than the 1.5L. I live in Puerto Rico and there are many mountains on the way to my house
