Hi all, I have Hyundai Accent Mk2 1999 year, 1.3i 62kw engine. I have bought it new from dealer. I drive it almost 21 year and she is one of the most durable machines ever. From the first day till today i drove it on high revs without problem. Now i have 175000 km from which 65% is city driving and high reving.
Now my problem
i have rattle noise coming from my rocker arms. It's not the lifter, i know lifter sound, but it is rattling noise coming from my rocker arms. On cold start the first 30 seconds i cannot hear any rattling sound the car is working like new, but after 30 seconds it starts to rattle. I am using 10w40 semi-synthetic oil. I wanted to ask, should i use 20w50 mineral oil for summer days and in winter 10w40 or 15w40 oil ? Thanks all in advance.
