Hi guys

I'm here again, since my accent 2013, has started to do strange thinks:

Sometimes, when it starts, gas icon starts blinking and displaying " ---" just like if it was empty, and sometimes it happens while driving, also, when blinking stops it displays wrong fuel amount: sometimes more, sometimes less (like 50%).

So, I'm thinking going to service center, but would like to have a previous opinion from an expert, or similar case and how it was solved.

Ps. my car's manual says it must be use a 92 octanes gas, but in my country it doesnt exist, only 90, 95 and 98.

When I bought the car, the seller told me about using only 90, since 95 could damage it, but then some people recomend to use at least 95, in order to have a better consumption and for not damage my car's engine...so, who is true? could the problem be related with that? I'm currently using 95, (except last week, since I was in a hurry).

What country?

Your Accent is designed to run on a minumum of 87 octane based on the (RON+MON)/2 method of rating octane used in the US. In Europe, that is 92 RON octane.
US - Europe
87 - 92 (regular)
89 - 95 (mid grade)
91 - 98 (premium)

To know exactly what is correct we would need to know what country you are in to determine what octane rating system they use. But my guess is, 95 in your country would probably be fine.
