Default 2013 required trans service?

I recently had my 2013 Elantra in for a minor recall repair. While there, the service manager gave me a whole host of "suggested" service items totaling over $600, including a transmission service since I had passed 60,00 miles. I. of course, refused. He then proceeded to tell me that I would be on the hook should I need any transmission repairs since I refused the service. I think he is feeding me a line, since I should be covered by the 10 yr/100,000 mile powertrain warranty as the original owner.
Am I right?

The trans fluid should be changed at 60,000 miles. If you don't do that service and the trans goes, yes, you would void the warranty. But a trans service shouldn't be $600.
