2015 hyundai elantra, base model.

The trunk of the vehicle will not open using the lever inside of the vehicle. The vehicle does not have a key hole above the license plate. The black piece where the keyhole would normally be near is simply plugged (the feature is not there as listed in some manuals). Without access to the trunk, there is zero access to pull the back seats down. Any solutions requiring any level of trunk access are not possible at the moment.

Roadside assistance could not assist with the issue. Auto locksmith could not assist because there isn't a keyed exterior option.

What are available options?

 

You may not be able to pull the back seats down, but you should be able to REMOVE them. It may take some work , but may be the only way to get in the trunk.
