My car started making a rattling noise like something is loose in the engine area. It doesn't do it all the time but enough that it's not normal. I took it to the dealership and they could not find an issue nor duplicate the noise. I had recorded it so they know it was doing it. They said everything was tight and nothing was loose. That the engine was fine and no codes came up.

They did tell me it could be the oil filter and that if when the oil was changed the place used an after-market filter. I am going to have the dealership change the oil and replace the filter to see if that fixes it to rule that out.

The car should not be making a noise and needs to be fixed. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what was it?
