First , what causes you to believe it is in accessory mode?

I have not yet come across this type problem, but do you know how to remove a battery cable?

Someone had similar issues couldn't turn key off or remove key don't know if they fixed problem or not. Not to insult your intelligence or anything but have you tried moving the steering wheel and moving the shifter

Pretty sure we are dealing with a push to start system so no key physically required just the remote for the vehicle to recognize..

I suggested removing a battery cable (negative one) from the battery. Sometimes this will allow the system to reset.

In the owner's manual are some directions that may provide an answer for you.

Of course there are some requirements that must be followed like the brake pedal must be depressed for the engine to start.
If it is in accessory mode , you might need to push the start button several times to get it out of accessory mode.
