Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Engine Start Button

Hello all, I'm new to the Hyundai forms. I just bought my first "New" car and it is a 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I wonder if anyone had installed a push button Engine Start such as the following:

If so where did you place the button? Any suggestions or pictures would be appreciated.

If you haven't and you have an opinion on placement that would be helpful too.

Thanks!

Sorry but, WHY?

This is not like cars that come standard with them and have a smart key where you can just have the key in your pocket and start the car only with the button. With this kit you still have to physically put the key in the ignition and turn the key. Why would you want to put in another step? And void part of your warranty (the ignition circuit). Seems like a waste of money to me.

Thanks for your advise I have actually found a better product that is key less though also costs a bit more.

If anyone is interested you can find it at

Also here is a video:

I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas of the best place this could be fitted on the HD's Interior.

Or better yet: http://www.auto-innovatio.com/magent...ech-st800.html
