Hi all, I have a 97' Lantra(Elantra with different badge) Sportswagon, 1.8 DOHC. The engine rattles like a mother. Sounds like the cam chain/lifters rattling around however I have installed new timing belt kit, new lifters(HLA's) and new chain and the noise is still there. I have even pulled the sump off to check for broken bits and to see if the oil pick was blocked which it wasnt. Any ideas would be welcome, cheers.
