Default My car is not starting 2003 Elantra

Everything was working fine till day before yesterday and yesterday I didn'ttake out my car but today morning when my wife was trying to start thecar it's not starting ignition lightis on and when she just starts it's only a cranking sound. can someone please help me what the problem is.

It could be a crankshaft position sensor. When they go bad, the car simply doesn't start. My Hyundai mechanic says when a Hyundai just randomly refuses to start, that's the first sensor he checks.
