Transmission kicks (only has 34K miles)
I bought a new Elantra a few years back and the last 6 months or so it has been kicking when shifting before the engine gets hot (not like in freezing temperatures, just when car has been sitting for hours). The kicking started around the time when I found a bunch of water behind my glove box and on the passenger side carpet. Turned out my AC drain line was clogged. Hit the hose under the car with my vacuum and a BUNCH of water gushed out. So I wonder if the water caused some kind of electrical/computer/sensor issue that is causing the transmission not to shift properly. It’s not bringing up any codes! Any ideas?? Thanks!
