Default Gas lift struts for hatch

Can someone point me to some aftermarket gas lift struts for a 2010 Elantra Touring? DO universal ones fit? Do I also need to replace the ball joint?

Thx.

Bit late reply .. however :
Check Aliexpress - there are several other KIA family and other makes that will fit the same type/ size.
These can take a bit to arrive, but they are decent quality and work well.

What I would suggest is to go to an auto supply place like NAPA with your vehicle and if they can't come up with the correct lift cylinder from their information , they can get it from your vehicle outside, no problem. Normally no need to replace the ball stud. Very easy to do and quick job.
They do lose the gas charge sometimes and require replacement, not difficult at all to replace.
