Default Seat heaters in Elantra Touring

Just picked up a new ET and was wondering about the temperature of the seat heaters. We sat in many of the cars and did not find them getting as warm as other brands we tested. Just wondering if anyone had the same experience.

My seat heaters work fine. If you are trying the low setting first you won't feel the heat, use the high setting first to get the seat warm then you can switch to low afterwards if you want to.

Thanks guys. we have another vehicle that we can't put on high because of the temperature and i was comparing to that. Will wait until winter to use them, sure they will be fine.

It works well enough. I find that the temperature of the heated seats on 'high' is not as powerful as other vehicles I have tried this feature on though.

I have had the following experience with seat heaters:
2005 Golf TDI - has a 1-5 control for seat heat. It was unbearable at 5, 4 was tolerable, I usually put them on 3 in the winter and off for the summer. I would set them to 5 to warm them up the fastest, but it still usually took 2-3km before they even felt warm, more like 5km until I had to turn them down.
2008 Chrysler 300 Limited - has a 2-level control, but it also had leather seats. I would set them on high and it would take ~3-4km before they were hot and I had to turn them down to low. High is just too hot to keep them, but low was just right.
2010 Elantra Touring - I set them on high and within 6 blocks I have to turn them down to low. I find high is just barely too hot, while low barely feels like it is on (except in the winter).

The ET has the fastest heated seats of any car I have owned, but I do find that it would be nice if:
1) High was higher and low was higher
2) High was a touch lower and low was left out

The heat warmers are a bit much for me. On low I can stand it for about 10 minutes before I start sweating, on high a few minutes. On the other hand, my wife can fall asleep with hers on high (not driving of course)...
