Canadian and american models are maybe not the same, but on my canadian GLS (SE equivalent I think), there is a red LED on the radio.

Thanks for the compliment Delta. Yes, I forgot to mention: getting the Camry engine in the Vibe is a big mistake, unless you like getting horrible gas mileage on a small vehicle. I have the 09 auto with Corolla engine and get 30 mpg in suburban driving.

Thanks for the great responses. I'll probably go with the touring. I'm waiting until the mid summer, so hopefully they will give me the price that I want. Also, interested to wait to hear more about the 2011 cars (as mentioned the kia forte hatch). If anyone knows of any other comparable cars coming out that would be great.

I think you are making the better choice of the two. As for the Forte hatch, from the great pictures posted earlier in the thread, I'm concerned about the way the back doors are cut. It looks like getting in/out of the back seat will be problematic for adults. The roof line starts to dive down a bit, and the angled cut makes it look as though passengers will have their head right next to the C pillar when seated, making for a lousy view and for awkward entry/exit much like the current Hyundai Tuscan. The ET wagon on the other hand is a joy to get in/out of for rear passengers.

The Focus 2011 should have a 5-door hatch. The 2011 is a new design.

Look here for some good photos : http://blogautomobile.fr/ford-focus-...-kinetic-45008

However, it looks more like a Mazda3 Sport than a Touring. Looks great though! :-)

edit - Not sure if it will be available in N. America. But as an indication, the 5-door has been presented at the Detroit show. You should contact a Ford dealer I guess.

edit2- Actually the 5-door is listed on Ford.ca as a 2012 model that should be available early in 2011.
